Graziella and Adriano Peri bought the palace in 1946.
The historical cellar under the palace and the vineyards all around were a strong motivation for Adriano to mantain the tradition of the wine production.
The Casale Gabaddeo line expresses the desire of the Peri Bigogno winery to exploit the terroir of the hill of Castenedolo and its winemaking vocation and tradition.
It was in 1980 when the charming project of producing a sparkling wine with refermentation in the bottle,
according to what could then still be called "Method Champenoise", involved and excited Peri’s family.
